Moritz Beckmann, PhD: CEO

Before his appointment Dr. Beckmann has been the Chief Operating Officer at XinRay Systems. In his current function he is still heading the marketing, manufacturing, quality processes. Prior to tinRay he worked as Head of R&D and first representative of the CEO at Siemens X-ray Vacuum Technology Ltd., Wuxi in China, where he was responsible for product transfers, manufacturing process validation, set up of quality  management system, facility validation, and national sourcing. Dr. Beckmann holds a graduate degree and a Ph.D in Physics from the University of Bonn, Germany and a Bachelor degree in Physics from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand.

Michael K. Poe, CPA: CFO

As CFO, Mr. Poe is responsible for all financial and administrative matters for XinRay. Mr. Poe brings more than 12 years experience as a CFO, primarily with international electronics manufacturers. He has served as CFO, Treasurer and Assistant Secretary for Channel Master, a leading manufacturer of satellite antennas at that time, as CFO for Insilco Technologies, an international component manufacturer, and as corporate controller for Exide Electronics Group, Inc., a leading provider of uninterruptible power systems. He started his career with 9 years in public accounting with Price Waterhouse. Mr. Poe attended North Carolina State University, where he earned a BA in Accounting and was recognized as Outstanding Senior in Accounting.

Frank Sprenger, PhD: Director R&D

Dr. Sprenger is Xinray Systems' specialist on X-ray tube design. Before joining Xinray Systems he worked as a project manager at the research and innovation department of Siemens Medical Solutions’ Vacuum technology division. His work at Siemens included development and design of a rotating envelope tube as well as feasibility studies in innovative tube technologies. Prior to that, Dr. Sprenger worked at the Max-Planck-Institute for Nuclear Physics in Heidelberg on ultra-cold electron beams. Dr. Sprenger holds a Diplom and a Ph.D in Physics from the University of Heidelberg, Germany.

Yuan Cheng, PhD: Project Manager

Dr. Cheng is XinRay Systems' specialist on emitter development and cathode design. Prior to joining XinRay Systems he has worked as a project manager in Xintek Inc. He has been with Xintek for three years and was responsible for carbon nanotube emitter and cathode development and testing as well as handling government projects. Dr. Cheng holds a Bachelor degree in Physics from the Beijing University, China, and a Ph.D degree in Physics from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

Houman Jafari, PhD: Project Manager

Dr. Jafari is Xinray Systems' specialist on electronics design and testing. Before joining Xinray Systems he worked as a project manager at the R&D department of Siemens Medical Solutions’ Vacuum technology division. His work at Siemens included the development and design of a high power RF-power amplifier and of the Beam Application and Monitoring System, both for Particle Therapy applications. Prior to that, Dr. Jafari worked at Coreoptics GmbH in Erlangen on transmitter and receiver hardware design. Dr. Jafari holds a Diploma and a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from the Friedrich Alexander University of Erlangen/Nuremberg, Germany and a MBA from the Georg-Simon-Ohm University of Erlangen/Nuremberg, Germany .
